What is Fathers Care?

Fathers
Care is a project of the Teen Alliance for Prepared Parenting (TAPP). Presently we provide direct service and referrals to outside resources that promote personal growth and the importance of Fathers in the social, emotional, spiritual and moral development of their children.  Our mission is to assist young Fathers with the development of healthy manhood, responsible fatherhood and family planning.

We seek to ensure that young men come to understand the importance of fatherhood, to value their role in parenting their children, and to see successful  fatherhood as a primary goal in life.
We provide food and tokens at all workshops. We also provide recreational activities for Fathers as well as Fathers and their children. 

                                             
Fathers Support Group -
Meets every Wednesday at 5:30 to 6:30pm - alternating site location at Washington Hospital Center and Childrens Hospital Center.  Stipend and refreshments are provided at the meeting.   Air out your concerns and feelings amongst other young fathers.  For More Information call 202-877-0727.
